Ricky R. Love, 59, passed away on October 1, 2019 at North Kansas City Hospital. He was born December 5, 1959 in Memphis, Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee Cotton and Marie (Love) Smith; stepfather, Frank F. Smith; brother, Freddie Love; nephews, Darrell R. Morgan and Dylan M. Smith; and his best friend, Donald "Slim" Adams.

Ricky was educated in the public schools of Kansas City, Missouri. He was a caring, genuine, and loving man who loved everyone. He was very outgoing and funny person who enjoyed having a good time with family and close friends. He was truly everyone's favorite.

Ricky leaves to cherish his memory: five brothers, Willie James Love (Linda) of Memphis, TN, Darrell Love, Gregory Love, Frank K. Smith (Alicia) and Edward Tyrone Smith (LaRhonda) all of Kansas City, MO; two sisters, JoWanda Smith and Lisa Parker (Anthony) both of Kansas City, MO; a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services Saturday, October 12, 2:00 p.m. at Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Interment Brooking Cemetery. Visitation 1:00-2:00 p.m. at the chapel. Services conducted by Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Condolences may be shared on our website.
