Robert Kendrick, 60, was born August 26, 1958 in New York City, New York to Eugene and Cornelia Kendrick, respectfully raised by Helen Kendrick since the age of 8. He was preceded in death by both parents; brother, Ralph Kendrick and niece, Lisa Marie Kendrick.

Robert was educated in the Kansas City Public School District graduating from Central High School. Robert later joined the military, serving two years in the Army. After leaving the military he obtained his CDL and began working for a trucking company.

Robert was loving, strong, and courageous with a kindhearted spirit. He could fill your heart and mind with laughter with his humor. Robert will truly be missed.

Robert passed away on Friday, the 23rd of November 2018 in the comfort of his home.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his children, Robert Jr., Deon, Ross, Kayla, Sabrina and Valencia; mother, Helen Kendrick; sisters, Marie Kendrick and Christine Valdez (Jody); nephew, Craig; niece, Charisse; great niece, Sidney; great nephew, Javon Tyler; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services Thursday, December 6, 12:00 p.m. at Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Interment Leavenworth National Cemetery. Visitation 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at the chapel. Services conducted by Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Condolences may be shared on our website.
