Obituary

Robert Earl Theus, V was born in Kansas City, MO to Geneva Rambo and Robert Theus, IV on December 12, 1993. He was preceded in death by great-grandparents, uncles, cousins and friends who we believe welcomed him into heaven.

Lil' Robert/RT, as he was affectionately called, was educated in the Center School District. He attended Pitcher Elementary, Center Middle and in 2012, graduated from Center High School. During his high school years, he was quite the athlete and excelled in wrestling and football. His love for the game of football was undeniable! Even though he loved football, he hated the Kansas City Chiefs but loved the Denver Broncos. His football trash talking skills were unmatched!

In 2016, he moved to Tennessee and began working for Hankook Tires, but his all-time favorite job was being a "GirlDad" to some of the world's prettiest chocolate girls. When it came to his daughters, his bark was worse than his bite. They could do no wrong. Although he often joked about having lots of girls and how he had to always "whoop" them, it does not appear that he ever did.

Robert accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Sunlight Missionary Baptist Church in Kansas City, Missouri under the leadership of his maternal grandfather, Pastor Julius Rambo Sr. He later served under the leadership of his uncle, Pastor Rickey Rambo. Robert loved the Lord and for many years served as the drummer for Sunlight's Inspirational Choir.

"RT" never met a stranger. His personality lit up a room and he was always the life of every party. Robert had genuine friendships/relationships with a wide age range of people. You could catch him being the best of friends with senior citizens and babies. He simply loved people.

Robert Earl Theus V, unexpectantly, departed this life on May 25, 2020.
