On February 24, 2017, Robin Lynne Price, 55, entered the welcoming arms of Our Lord and Savior. Robin was born April 14, 1961 in Kansas City, Kansas, the daughter of Peggy Price who preceded her in death along with a son, Dedrick Peoples. Robin graduated from East High School in 1979, and was a point guard for the East High School 'Bears' Varsity Women's Basketball Team. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from Texas Women's University in Denton, Texas in 1984. Robin utilized her journalism skills as an intern at American Cablevision. Recognizing her tremendous value, American Cablevision hired Robin as a Camera Woman, and promoted her to Editor and Director. Robin relocated to Albuquerque, New Mexico where she married Lolita 'Peaches' Peoples in 1991, who preceded her in death. Robin returned to Kansas City and met the love of her life, Timeka S. Gibson. They were married in September of 2011. In 2011, Robin joined Farmers Insurance Companies in Overland Park, Kansas as a Claims Representative. Robin was an avid Basketball fan, and a loyal supporter of the Kansas City Chiefs and the Kansas City Royals. Robin is survived by her wife, Timeka S. Price; daughter, Crystal Peoples of Albuquerque, NM; three siblings, Cheryl Price and Gary Price both of Kansas City, and Michael Price of New Mexico. Robin was a beloved aunt to many nephews and nieces, and was loved by a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and many friends. Funeral services will be Saturday, March 4, 12:00 p.m. at New Vision Christian Church. Interment Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at the church.
