Ronald DeWayne Graham, 52, Grandview, Missouri, passed away on May 27, 2016. He was born August 20, 1963 in Kansas City, Missouri to the union of the late George and Pearl Graham. Ronald was the youngest of six children born to this union. Affectionately known to family and friends as 'Ron G.', 'Ronnie' and 'Uncle Ronnie', Ronald was a graduate of Van Horn High School, class of 1981, where he was active in band. He joined the United States Marine Corps in 1982, serving three years a Sergeant. At the age of twelve is when Ronald got his start working as a stocker for Country View Market and successfully worked his way to owner on June 1, 1999. In a neighborhood that captured his heart, he transformed Country View into more than a liquor store, creating an environment for the community. On May 10, 1990, Ronald met Sheila Bradley and together they raised his son, Phillip and Sheila's three sons, Sidney, Stefawn and Stedman. In 1992, the couple welcomed their only child born into this union, Shayla Diane. In addition to raising their own children, the two also raised his niece, Samantha Moody. He and Sheila wed on August 4, 2001 and remained married for twelve years. Ronald was a philanthropist in his community and served on the boards of many neighborhood organizations. He will be forever known for his outstanding personality, kind heart and ownership of Country View Market. He leaves to cherish his memory: his children, Phillip Marquez and Shayla Graham; stepsons, Sidney Bradley (Michaela); Stefawn Bradley (Michelle) and Stedman Bradley; grandchildren, Philino and Ty'Leyah Marquez, Michelle Bradley, Gabrielle and Michael Westrick; brothers, George Graham, Jr., Jeffrey Graham and Michael Graham; sisters, Sheila Moody (Sam) and Sharon Graham-Holt (Jerry); a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Saturday, June 4, 11:00 a.m. at Memorial Church International. Interment Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at the church. Service conducted by Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Condolences may be shared on our website.
