Ronald Jerry Washington was born on September 1, 1944, in Oklahoma to Jake Washington and Bernice Jackson. He was preceded in death by his parents, son; Ronald S. Washington, sisters; Verssadell Hughes and Edwina Washington, brother: Bobby Washington, twins Ta'Ron and Ron'ta Carastan. Ronald attended Bristow High School in Bristow, Oklahoma. After school he enlisted in the United States Army where he diligently served his country. After being honorably discharged, he later relocated to Kansas City, Missouri and became the owner of Ron's Tire Shop. Ron loved his family, especially his children. He enjoyed putting smiles on everyone's faces, cooking, playing basketball, and just being a great father. Ronald departed this life On May 17, 2022 in North Carolina. He will be deeply missed by family and friends and all who knew him. The memories Ron left us will live on forever in our hearts. He leaves to cherish his memory, His wife of 27 years: Chanta Washington, six daughters; Durron Tidwell, Donna Washington, Devin Fortune, Shamika Donahue, Kala-hari Washington, Sahara Washington, one son: Tyron Washington, three brothers: Godfrey Washington, Edward Washington, and Ricky Stephens and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives, and friends.
