Roosevelt "King" Duncan, 87, KCMO, passed away on January 17, 2018 at Research Medical Center. Affectionately known as "Rosie", he was born November 30, 1930 in Grady, Arkansas to Daniel Sr. and Molly Duncan. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and six siblings.
Roosevelt was a member of the Laborers Local union 663 for thirty years. He retired from Bowen Construction in 1996 where he served many years.
In March 1957, Roosevelt married Dixie J. Duncan, and to this union one child was born.
Roosevelt enjoyed fishing and hunting. He loved spending time with his great granddaughters and you could often catch the four of them at his favorite place, Quik Trip.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his son, Myron Davis; daughter, Gaye Powell; stepson, William Patrick; granddaughters, Nyree Powell, Michelle Powell and Danielle Davis; great granddaughters, Jordon Hardiman, Kailee Powell and Cameryn Powell; great great granddaughter, Baby Rylei and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services Saturday, January 27, 11:00 a.m. at Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Interment Brooking Cemetery. Visitation 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the chapel. Services conducted by Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Condolences may be shared on our website.
