Rosie Lee Abson, 85, was born August 31, 1932 in Shreveport, Louisiana to the late Ophelia "Momma Red" Davis. She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Abson; brother, Harold White; sister, Mary Ann White; sons, Ervin Robinson, William Robinson and Willie Anthony Robinson; daughters, Inetta Douglas and Helen Robinson; grandson, Mozell Douglas; granddaughter, Victoria Ware and sister-in-law, Ola V. Brewer.

Rosie was educated in the public schools of Shreveport. She accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior early in life and attended Simpson Road Baptist Church in Atlanta, where she lived for many years with her late husband.

Rosie was a wonderful mother and grandmother who had a real big heart. She was passionate about the things she loved most such as God, family, cooking, gardening and her true love of fishing.

Rosie recently returned to Kansas City to be with her family and soon after was called home on March 2, 2018. She leaves to cherish her memory: five daughters, Mary Pouncil, Rebecca Thomas, Betty Ware (Winford), Ellen Robinson and Angela McDonald; grandchildren, Rosie, Brenda, Melanie, Kevin, Kelsie, Matthew, Geoffrey, Sheila, Akilah, Little, Rochelle, Barbara Ann, Laticha, Allen, Tiffany, Richard, Rickeya, Tyrone, Nicole, De'Andre, Alonzo, Cierra, Marcus, Luke and Marcus; niece, Dorothy English; sister-in-law, Bernice White; and a host of great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
