Ruth Ann Saffold, 66, KCMO, passed away on February 10, 2017. She was born March 8, 1950 to the union of the late Mackie and Annie Carmichael. She was preceded in death by a brother, Matthew 'Chico' Carmichael and a nephew, Mark Carmichael. Ruth Ann was educated in the public schools of Kansas City, Missouri. She was baptized at a young age at Galatian Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Norwood. Ruth Ann was united in holy matrimony to Moses Saffold. This marriage was later dissolved. She leaves to cherish her memory: her brother, James Carmichael; sisters, Betty Ann Flackes (Rev. Dr. Eddie Flackes, Jr.) and Carolyn Ray all of Kansas City, MO; and a host of nephews, nieces and friends. Funeral services will be Saturday, February 18, 11:00 a.m. at Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Interment Blue Ridge Lawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the chapel. Services conducted by Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors.
