Ruth Taylor, 84, passed away on November 12, 2018. She was born October 22, 1934 to Peter and Maggie Taylor in Bailey, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by both parents; her husband, Jack Griffo and eight siblings, Alonzo, Wilbur, Leon, RV, Clifford, James, Dorothy and Loraine Taylor.

Ruth received her education in Oklahoma. Ruth attended the Kingdom Hall on Swope Parkway in Kansas City, Missouri for many years, where she was an active member until her health began to fail.

Ruth was employed by Pooches on the Plaza as a waitress. She also worked at Samuel Rogers Health Clinic as a microfilmer and medical records department. Lastly, she operated her own daycare from home.

In 1962, Ruth married Jack Griffo. She raised and loved many children. Everyone loved "Aunt Ruth", she never met a stranger. If she had it, you had it. She was a mother and mentor to many even though she never had children of her own.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her sister-in-law, Harvey L. Taylor and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
