Ruthann Harley, 79, was born May 2, 1937 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Ethel Hughes and Henry Hayes, who both preceded her in death. Ruthann was educated in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania School District. Her trade was in electronics.For many years Ruthann worked for Philco Ford, where she perfected her talents. In 1954, she married Robert Lee Harley who also preceded her in death. In 1960, she gave birth to her only daughter, Robin. Ruthann gave her life to Christ in 1972 and joined the North Philadelphia Seventh Day Adventist Church. While there, she ministered to the brothers and sisters behind bars. Ruthann departed this life on April 22, 2017 at the home. She leaves behind: one daughter, Robin Roland (Andrew); four sisters, Mary Moore, Michelle Mitchell, Andrea Hayes and Jeanette Lambiasi; four grandchildren, Tosha, Eric Thompson (Jasmine), Jeff Brooks (Jessica) and Jocelyn Roland; ten great grandchildren, Taliiyah, Tamiyah, Ziah, Saneiha, Zariah, Jordan, Taylor, Jaden, Brooklyn and Tristan; one nephew/caregiver, Slater Craig; cousin, Diane Penn; and a host of nephews, nieces, descendants of Rosa Good, and friends.
