Samuel Sidney Bittle, Jr., 70 was born on August 7, 1949 to the union of Samuel S. Bittle, Sr. and Victoria (Justice) Bittle in Kansas City, Kansas. Both parents, one brother, Willis Letcher and one sister, Yolonda Bittle-Kennedy all preceded him in death.

Samuel was a lifelong area resident, growing up in Kansas City, Missouri. He was edcuated in the Kansas City Missouri public schools and was a graduate of Lincoln High School.

Samuel loved cars, music and sports and spending quality time with his family. He owned and operated his own lawn care service.

Samuel had a last union with Charlotte Byers over fifty years. She also preceded him in on January 16, 2020.

He departed this life on Thursday, April 30, 2020 at Research Medical Center.

He leaves to cherish his memory, three daughters, Tonya Bittle and Tracey Byers-Pitts, Grandview, MO and Tawana Byers, Kansas City, MO; one brother, Victor Bittle, Leavenworth, KS; one sister, Norma Jean Robinson, Las Vegas, NV; a host of nephews, nieces other relatives and friends.

Graveside services Friday, May 8, at 11:00 a.m.in Brooking Cemetery. Services conducted by Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Condolences may be shared on our website.
