Sanchez Lamar Harris, 37, passed away on July 9, 2018. He was born July 1, 1981 in Kansas City, Missouri to the union of Ervin and Kathryn Harris. His father; paternal grandmother, Ena T. Harris and maternal grandmother, Marceline M. Robertson preceded him in death.
In his early years, Sanchez attended Blenheim Elementary School and graduated from Hickman Mills High School. After high school, he completed the Brownfield Minority Working training program specializing in the field of Environmental Protection. Sanchez also worked at Home Depot for several years. He later earned his CNA certificate, and enjoyed helping and attending to the health needs of others. Sanchez gave his life to Christ at an early age and was baptized. On July 2, 2005 he welcomed his one and only baby girl into the world, Heavenly S. Harris. Sanchez will be remembered for his scripture quoting, his love for people, laughter, and talking long walks while talking to people because no one was a stranger. He leaves to cherish his memory: his daughter, Heavenly S. Harris; mother, Kathryn D. Harris; brother, Juan E. Harris; sister Te'Aira M. Golden (TeRance); nephews, Eljae J. Harris and Jaeden L. Harris; niece, Jordin M. Harris and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
Funeral services Saturday, July 14, 2:00 p.m. at Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Interment XII Gates Memorial Gardens. Visitation 1:00-2:00 p.m. at the chapel. Services conducted by Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Condolences may be shared on our website.
