Sarah J. March, age 83, entered into eternal rest on September 3, 2020. She ws born august 15, 1937 to Mr. and Mrs. Alonzo Swiney in Ashland, LA.

She confessed Christ at an early age and united with the Iron Spring Baptist church of Ashland, LA.

In the late 50's and early 60's she moved to Kansas City, MO. Here she met and married Lavell March. After moving to Kansas City, she united with the Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church where she remained until God called her home.

Up until her retirement she worked in the healthcare field, retiring from Encompass Medical Group.

She leaves to cherish her memory three sisters, Helen Ray of Kansas City, Mo, Rosie Thornton of Houston, TX, and Genera Manuel of Ashland, LA, also a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, September 25, at 2:30pm at the Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors Chapel, and Pastor Laron Thompson will be giving word of comfort.
