Saundra E.
Graham
Oct 16, 1946 — Aug 23, 2017
Saundra Elaine Graham, 70, was born October 16, 1946, in Kansas City, Missouri to Clarence and Bobbie Campbell. Saundra graduated from Manual High School in 1962. She furthered her education at Penn Valley Community College where she received her Associates degree, and also attended William Jewel College. Saundra married Sylvester Kirk and bore a son (Brian) on October 26, 1970. They later divorced, and Saundra married Brady Graham and bore a daughter (Brachelle) on December 11, 1982. Saundra was greatly interested in education. After her career in employment services, she became a Parent Educator for Parents As Teachers. In her later years, she was a para for Park Hill High School District for several years. Saundra had many accomplishments, but one of her proudest ventures was being the owner and operator of Arrow Employment Services of North Kansas City, Missouri, alongside her sister Sharon R. Saundra, nick named 'Sandy-Pants', never stopped learning. In fact, her love for learning and fun was shown in her fascination for words. Some of her favorite word games were Boggle, Scramble, Crossword Puzzles and Word Streak, which she could play for hours. Her interest included God, family, education, spiritual and encouraging quotes. Her passion for words and quotes motivated her to begin writing a book containing inspirational quotes, with the goal of it being published. Saundra was a member of Eastside Church of Christ where she enjoyed hearing a good sermon. Prior to that, she was a member of New Birth Christian Center. Saundra passed away on August 23, 2017 at SaintLuke'sHospice House with her entire family by her side. Saundra is survived by her son, Brian L. Kirk; daughter Brachelle Graham; mother, Bobbie J. Campbell; brother, Darron Campbell; sisters, Sharon R. Campbell-Marshall, Sheryl L. Fleming (Lionel), and her baby sister, Sarah A. Campbell (Annette); twelve grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. Funeral services Saturday, September 2, 12:00 p.m. at New Birth Christian Center. Private disposition.
