Obituary

Seno Joe Carter, 63, was born on October 17, 1956 to the union of Albert Alfonzo Carter and Sweetie Mae Sterling in Kansas City, Kansas at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Both parents, two brothers, Albert Lee Carter and Charles Thomas Carter, two sisters, Shelia Katherine Carter and Theresa Anneita Reese and one son, LaSon Biggins all preceded him in death.

Seno attended E. C. Merservey Elementary School and Martin Luther King Jr. Middle School. He later enrolled in the U. S. Job Corps where he obtained his G.E.D. While in Job Corps he obtained boxing skills and became pretty good at drawing free-style.

Seno was a construction worker for many years and was considered to be an excellent foreman. He truly enjoyed working with his hands.

Affectionately known as "Joe" by his family and friends departed this life on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 surrounded by family at home. He was a beloved brother, wonderful father, proud grandfather and a friend to all the elderly. He will be greatly missed.

He leaves to cherish his memory: one son, Seno Joe Carter, Jr., (mother Renaee); two daughters, Nicole Biggins and Andrea Biggins, (mother Riecia); two sisters, Donna Randle (Willie) and Tamala Carter (Willie), all of Kansas City, MO; eight grandchildren and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins other relatives and friends

Funeral services Saturday, November 9, 11:00 a.m. at Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Interment Blue Ridge Lawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the chapel. Services conducted by Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Condolences may be shared on our website.
