Obituary

Shareece Rena Jackson, 31, KCMO, transitioned from her earthly life to her heavenly one on May 27, 2016. She was born October 20, 1984 in Kansas City, Missouri to James L. Jackson and Eleesa Jordan. She was preceded in death by her father; paternal grandfather grandfather, Reece Brown; maternal grandparents, Eldee & Dorothy Buie; and cousin, Jessica Jordan. Affectionately known to family and friends as 'Shelby', Shareece was educated in the Kansas City Missouri Public School System and was a graduate of Central High School, class of 2003. Shareece was success driven and strived to learn as much as she could about as much as she could. She became a licensed EMT in 2012. Shareece completed her Bachelor's degree from the University of Phoenix in Health Administration with an emphasis in Information Technology, and was scheduled to graduate on July 9, 2016. Shareece accepted Christ at an early age and was a loyal and faithful member of Palestine Missionary Baptist Church. She worked out regularly was physically fit until she was diagnosed with breast cancer, at which time she was surrounded by the love and support of her loving mother and only sister. Shelby leaves to cherish her memory: her mother, Eleesa Jordan; one sister, Ishawna Dorbignit; maternal aunts, Karen Carter (Booker) and Donetta Jordan (Jerry); maternal great aunt, Faye Wortham; maternal uncle, Eldee Jordan, Jr.; maternal great uncle, Donald Donald Wortham; paternal grandmother, Juanita Jackson; paternal aunts, Kenya Spencer, Rekita Jackson; Naurice Brown Kirkwood, Gayle Jackson, Phaetima Woods (Mono); paternal uncles, Sean Brown and John Jackson (Sheila); cousins who were more like sisters and were near and dear to her heart, Lakendra Buie, Tyra Buie and Kiesha Buie; along with a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Friday, June 10, 11:00 a.m. at Palestine Missionary Baptist Church of Jesus Christ. Interment XII Gates Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at the church. Services conducted by Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Condolences may be shared on our website.
