Sharon L. Lee, 68, KCMO, passed away on August 16, 2016. She was born August 26, 1947, to Mary Louise Dunn and Henry Lee in Hartshorne, Oklahoma. Sharon graduated from Hartshorne High School and was in the nursing field for many years. She obtained several nursing certifications throughout her 40-year career. Sharon was employed by Shawnee Mission Medical Center and Truman Medical Center. Healthcare was her passion, and she served thousands of patients during her four decades of service. She was a living example of compassionate care, both in her professional and personal life. She retired from HCA Manor Care in 2012. Sharon accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age. Before her health failed, she was an active member of Calvary Temple Baptist Church where she served on the usher board for decades and as was fervent about working with the youth ushers. Sharon later attended This Rock Christian Tabernacle. For Sharon, her family was her life. She loved her daughters and was an active grandparent even as her health failed. Sharon was preceded in death by her mother; father; brothers, Billy Moore and Larry Moore; sisters, Joan Moore, Carolyn Grandberry and Bertha Moore; two aunts; and a nephew. She leaves to cherish her memory: two daughters, Sharonne McGee (Ellis) of Kansas City, MO and Archelle Wilson of Blue Springs, MO; five grandchildren, Missouri State Representative DaRon McGee, Javon McGee, Darius Wilson, Daria Wilson and Alexis McGee; two nephews, Michael Moore and Darren Jones; two nieces, Tonya Moore and Nicole Moore; one aunt, Sharon Ann Hibbit (Michael); and a host of other family and friends. Funeral services will be Saturday, August 20, 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Temple Baptist Church. Private disposition. Visitation will be from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at the church. Services conducted by Duane E.
