Mrs. Shawntell Jolene Harper, 32 of Kansas City, Missouri passed away unexpectedly on December 15, 2021, due to an automobile accident in North Carolina. Shawntell was born on June 5, 1989, to Calvin McDonald and Serena McKinney in St. Joseph, Missouri. She was preceded in death by both parents, paternal grandmother Ruth McDonald, brother Tarrell McKinney and sister Breanna Carpenter. Shawntell is survived by her husband Fred Harper II, two daughters Tyriana Birdwell and Serenity Brown, one son Major McKinney, maternal grandmother Marlene McKinney, father in-law Fred Harper Sr, mother in-law Lovie (Mama Duke) Harper, five sisters : Leandra Tanksley, Cierra McKinney, Shonte Williams, Lashawndra Weston and Lakendra Weston and six brothers: Josh Warner, Jermaine Warner, Jashaun Warner, Johnny Warner, Anthony Rich and Colby Weston and a host of Uncles, Aunts, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. Shawntell had a very big heart and was known to go above and beyond to fulfill any request you ask of her. Shawntell enjoyed listening to music, dancing, shopping and spending time with family and friends. Shawntell loved to celebrate holidays and special occasions with family gatherings at her home. She liked to frequent her favorite restaurants to enjoy a meal out with the kids. Shawntell also loved playing cards and dominoes. Homegoing celebration Saturday 1/8/2022 at 2:30 pm Duane E.
