Shirley Jo Vaught, 81, was born November 25, 1934 in Kansas City, Missouri to the late Edna Walker-Rhumes. Shirley departed this life on April 3, 2016 at St. Joseph Medical Center. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be dearly missed by all whose life she touched. She is survived by her children, Gary Vaught (Donna), Gina Shields and James C. Vaught, Jr.; grandchildren, Christian Vaught, Gabriel Vaught, Jeremiah Vaught, Travis Kelly, Zachary Kelly, James Vaught III and Nina Jo Pastena; brothers, Jim Walker and Mike Walker; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Saturday, April 9, 5:30 p.m. at Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Private disposition. Visitation will be from 4:30-5:30 p.m. at the chapel. Services conducted by Duane E.
