Shroy "Roy Roy" Lapsley, passed away

unexpectedly in the early morning of

September 4, 2024. Roy Roy's journey

began at DA Holmes Elementary and

continued through Northeast High School.

Shroy was widely recognized as a highly

skilled handyman, known for his

willingness to help neighbors with repairs,

particularly when it came to fixing

lawnmowers. His passion for working with

his hands was evident to all who knew

him.

Roy Roy's warm and caring nature

endeared him to many, and his absence

will be deeply felt by all who had the

pleasure of knowing him. He was

preceded in death by his father, Shroy

Ferrel, and is survived by his mother,

Sheila Lapsley, stepfather Lemmy Dean,

sister Sherica Lapsley, brother Trenton

Lapsley, daughters Shamiya, Nevaeh,

Lyrica, and son Shroy, nieces Amaya and

Brianna. In addition to a host of other

family members and friends.
