Stacey Reymond Witherspoon was born November 12, 1972 in Milwaukee Wisconsin to Bernestine Witherspoon. He departed this life on March 13, 2020.
Stacey attended school in the Hickman Mills School District, he attended Santa Fe Elementary, Ervin JR. High and Hickman Mills High School. During his childhood Stacey played baseball in the little league he was the pitcher for the Kansas City A's, which was organized by His step father David Britt and his close friend Mr. Louis Fields. Stacey also played football for south suburban Athletics association.
Stacey was a choir member and dedicated drummer for the Voices of Praise teen choir at Second Missionary Baptist Church of Grandview, Mo under the leadership of the late Pastor Dr. Donald D. Ford I. Stacey gave his life to Christ in 1995 and was baptized at Second Missionary Baptist Church by the late Dr. Donald D. I. Stacey was a long term employee at the River Oaks Golf Club, in Grandview, MO.
Stacey was preceded in death by his grandparents; Richard and Betty Mae Witherspoon & Mary O. Witherspoon; uncles, Lee Edward Witherspoon, Azell Witherspoon, Bobby Joe Witherspoon, Bennie L. Witherspoon and Raymond Witherspoon; one aunt Ella Wea Witherspoon - King.
He leaves to cherish his memories; his Mother Bernestine Britt of Kansas City, MO. ; his Step father (pops) David Charles Britt of Kansas City, MO.; his children; Terron Wyatt and Jamal Howell of Kansas City, MO., Dalynn Witherspoon Davis, of Raytown, MO.; Sharae (Danny) Billingsley of Kansas City, Missouri, Sierra Witherspoon of Phoenix, AZ., Stacia Howell, Stacee Davis, Danielle and Desirae Jones, JeKayla Killibrew Of Kansas City, MO.; Step Children; Kimberly Baker of Kansas City, MO, Angel and Tiffany Baker of Dallas, TX; eight grandchildren; one sister, Kawana (Jamie) Rucker of Pittsburgh, PA; a niece Karrington Rucker of Youngstown, OH; nephews, Jordan (Tierra) Rucker Sr. Of Toledo, OH. Dylan Rucker of Pittsburgh, PA. A special friend, Cynthia D. Ross, Adopted children, several aunts, uncles, cousins and host of friends.
Funeral services Saturday, March 28, at 11:00 am Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors Chapel. Interment XII Gates Memorial Gardens. In repose 10:00 a.m. at the chapel. Services conducted by Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Condolences maybe shared on our website.
