Sylvester Peel, 69, was born February 14, 1953 in Canton, Mississippi to the union of John b. and Irene Peel. He was preceded in death by both parents; his wife, Willie Pearl Doyle-Peel; son, Antonio Doyle; two brothers, Curtis Peel and Johnny M. Peel; and three sisters, Sharon Johnson, Rosemary Thompson and Kathy Walls.

Sylvester attended the Canton Mississippi public schools. He worked at Sears Tire Company and later at TCI Tire Company (formerly McDowell Tire Company) for over twenty-five years until he retired.

Sylvester was a hardworking and loving father, son and brother. He had a very compassionate heart for everyone who came in his life. He enjoyed fishing, riding his motorcycle and spending time laughing with family and friends. He also enjoyed teaching his children the values of hard work as well as spoiling them equally, especially his daughter "Baba".

On Friday, December 8, 2017, God called Sylvester home and his soul winged it's flight from this world of pain and sorrow to a place of peaceful rest.

He leaves to cherish his memory: two sons, Cortez Doyle and Sylvester Doyle both of KCMO; one daughter, Shareka "Nikki" Guinn of Houston, TX; two brothers, John B. Peel (Kathy) of Schertz, TX and Guylester Peel of KCMO; three sisters, Sandra Trader, Devois Peel and Joyce Horton all of Canton, MS; ten grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.
