Terrell was a man who enjoyed the simple things in life.
Terrell E. Thompson, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, was born on December 10, 1950, to Elizabeth Thompson and Jacob Williams in Booneville, MO.
Terrell received his education in the Kansas City, Missouri, school system and was a proud graduate of Lincoln High School. Following high school, he dedicated 32 years of faithful service to the City of Kansas City, Missouri, before enjoying his well-deserved retirement.In October 2001, Terrell was united in marriage to the love of his life, Kimberly Thompson. Together, they shared a beautiful marriage and loved each other dearly. Kimberly remained faithfully by Terrell’s side, including at his bedside, until the Lord called him home.Terrell was a man who enjoyed the simple things in life. In his free time, he loved fishing and working on cars. He took great pride in keeping his ride clean and making sure everything was just right. Above all, Terrell treasured spending time with his family. He was known as a wonderful husband, a great father, grandfather, uncle, and friend. His warm spirit and genuine love for others allowed him to form lasting relationships with his coworkers and friends throughout the years.On July 29, 2026, Terrell departed this earthly life at his home, surrounded by his loving wife, Kim, and his family. He leaves to cherish his precious memory his devoted wife, Kimberly Thompson; Daughters, Lakendra, Ki'Esha, Channell, Alexis, Chantel, Monica ; Son: Brandon; his siblings, Joann, Betty, and James; his many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family members, coworkers, and friends who loved him dearly.Terrell was preceded in death by his parents, Elizabeth Thompson and Jacob Williams; his sister, Shirley; and his son, Terrell.Though his earthly journey has come to an end, the love Terrell shared, the memories he created, and the lives he touched will remain forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.Rest well, Terrell. Your work is finished, your memories remain, and your love will live on forever.
