Thomas C. Tillman, 75, Blue Springs, Missouri, passed away on January 29, 2017. He was born November 12, 1941 in Indianola, Mississippi to the late Alex and Viola (Sutton) Tillman. His brother, Roosevelt Tillman and sister, Ann Tillman preceded him in death. Thomas was converted and baptized at an early age. He attended Carver Elementary School and graduated from Gentry High School in 1962. After thirty-three years of service, he retired from General Motors in 2001. Thomas was united in marriage to the love of his life, Doretha Banks in 1975. Together they have shared forty-one years of love and devotion. He leaves to cherish his memory: his dedicated wife, Doretha Tillman; son, Kenneth Tillman (Sylvia Jackson) of Kansas City, MO; daughter Tyra Tillman of Atlanta, GA; brother-in-law, John Noble of Atlanta, GA; four sisters-in-law, Effie Robinson of Lamont, MS, Bessie Dennis of Memphis, TN, Quintella Sullivan of Greenwood, MS and Mary Pruitt of Memphis, TN; four grandchildren, Keona Tillman, Shian Tillman, Mercedes Sullivan and Porsha Sullivan; two great grandchildren, twenty-one nephews and nieces, eighteen great nephews and nieces, and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be be Saturday, February 4, 11:00 a.m. at Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the chapel. Services conducted by Duane E.
