Timothy Ray Tate was born September 5, 1958, to Cleota Tate in Sparta, Illinois, the fifth of seven brothers. Tim was preceded in death by his mother Cleota Tate and oldest brother Ronald Tate, Sr. Tim graduated from Sparta High and later served his country in the United States Military. Upon moving to Kansas City, he worked as the head cook at Denny's, Western Missouri Center for Behavioral Health and later began a career with the VA Medical Center in Leavenworth, Kansas as an Insurance Verification Clerk where he retired April 2022. Timothy is survived by his daughter Jericka; granddaughter's Justice, Jezhria, Jakeria, Jerricca, and Jaevire, brothers John (Sherri), Gregory (Sandy), Wayne, David and James, a host of other relatives and friends.
