TJ Housley, 75, KCMO, was born May 26, 1942 in Pelican, Louisiana to the late Quinton and Nancy Housley. He was preceded in death by sisters, Dorothy and Emma; brothers, Richard, Walter, Quinton Jr. and Arris; and a granddaughter, Jeannine Dean.

TJ was educated in the Pelican, Louisiana School District graduating from All Saints High School. He became an ordained minister at Rainbow Missionary Baptist Church in Kansas City, Missouri.

TJ married Nancy Lou Caldwell on July 14, 1991 and accepted three children into his marriage.

TJ worked at Deffenbaugh as a driver for eleven years. He was very well known and liked by all. As an avid fan, he loved to watch the Kansas City Royals and Chiefs play ball.

TJ entered the gates of heaven on Monday, November 13, 2017, surrounded by family and close friends who each held a part of his heart as he silently said "good bye". He would have you hold every moment as you go, build with your strength and courage, and know that he will always be in your heart. For years is the bond that will never be broken.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving wife, Nancy Housley; sons, Warren Dean, Sr. and James Dean, Sr.; daughter, Marian Dean; brothers, Bill Housley (Linda), Charles Housley (Helen) and Clyde Housley; sisters Claire Housley-George, Marie Housley and Nettie Casson (Eddie); grandsons, Warren Dean, Jr. and James Dean, Jr.; granddaughters, Lauren Dean and Taylor Dean; and a host of nephews, nieces, other family and friends.
