Tomisa Rachele Waddy, 48, was the first born to James L. and Jacqueline Waddy on December 19, 1968 in Salina, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her father and her grandmother, Beulah Anderson.

Tomisa was a proud graduate of J.C. Harmon, class of 1987. She continued her education earning a Bachelor's degree and later discovered her passion for Nursing. She received her Practical Nursing License through A.T.S. Institute of Technology in Kansas City, Kansas.

Tomisa was employed at K.U. Medical Center. She worked in pediatrics for over five years until her untimely passing. She was a hard worker who was dedicated to caring for her patients.

Tomisa departed this life on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at K.U. Medical Center, where she committed her time daily and truly loved what she did.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her daughter, Taylor Dean (Marcel Jones); mother, Jacqueline Waddy; four sisters, Connie Banks, Jami George (Kevin), Lisa Waddy and Ann Waddy; her granddaughter and "Suga Mama", Nevaeh Dean and a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.
