Tommie T. Miller, 46, passed away on May 28, 2017 at Liberty Hospital. Joyful, full of life and love, Tommie was born December 30, 1970 to the late Dorothy Miller in Kansas City, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Eva and Willie Jones, Jr. As a lifelong area resident, Tommie was educated in the Kansas City Missouri Public Schools and graduated from Southeast High School. He was a member of Harvest Church International under the leadership of Bishop Steve Houpe. He was previously employed as a salesman and currently as a business consultant. Tommie was united in marriage to the former Ms. Marquita Muse. He was a loving husband and father, and a great supporter of his family. He would do whatever could to help others. Tommie will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He leaves to cherish his memory and legacy: his loving wife, Marquita Miller; four children, Tommie, Jr., Tomesha (Rodgerick), Teyana and Teaira; four grandchildren, Rodgerick Jr., Aniyah, Rico and Nora; four siblings, Charles Jones (Angie), Mustafa Mohamed, Phillip Boose and DeCarla Miller; mother-in-law, Geneva Muse; sister-in-law, Emmarita Toston (Quincy); and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Thursday, June 1, 11:00 a.m. at Harvest Church International. Interment Blue Ridge Lawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the church.
