Tony D. McDaniel, Sr., 42, KCMO, passed away on March 1, 2017 at Truman Medical Center. He was born April 24, 1974 in Kansas City, Missouri to Granville Lacy and Pamela J. McDaniel. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Johnnie McDaniel; grandmother, Mattie McDaniel; special aunt, Johnanna Marie (McDaniel) Wesley and aunt, Sharon Lloyd. As a lifelong area resident, Tony was educated in the public schools of Kansas City, Missouri, attending both Westport and Central High Schools. He accepted Christ and his Savior and was a former member of Metropolitan Missionary Baptist Church, where he served as the church drummer. Tony worked as a chef for Sarpino's Pizza. He was a member of the Marching Cougars as well as the Marching Cobras for a number of years. Tony was united in marriage to Ms. Cartina E. Reid on February 14, 2014. He loved spending time with his family and close friends, and will be sorely missed by them all. He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Cartina E. McDaniel; two sons, Tony McDaniel, Jr. and Ezra Jobe; two daughters, Tonisha McDaniel and Dariauna Judi; father, Granville 'Skip' Lacy; mother, Pamela J. McDaniel; three grandchildren, Dadrianna Tate, Adrianna Tate and TaKneeah Tate; a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Saturday, March 11, 11:00 a.m. at Duane E.
