Toya Michelle (Stevenson) Marshall was born July 3, 1970 in Kansas City, Missouri to Farley Stevenson and Veronica "Ronnie" Diaz. She was preceded in death by both parents; her brother, Sonny Stevenson as well as many other loved ones.

Toya attended Rescue Baptist Church in KCMO and it was there that she was baptized and committed herself to the Lord.

Toya received her education at Brown Caldwell Catholic School in KCMO and accomplished the completion of her GED at Brown Mackie College.

Toya was employed by Uniguard Security spending many years in her role as a security guard, which was her level new area of expertise.

Toya was married to Joseph Marshall on May 12, 2012. She was known by many for her countless acts of kindness, goofy personality, nurturing smile, and exuberant laugh. She loved spending time with family and friends, her granddaughters, and of course her one and only baby girl. You could always catch her on the go or watching one of her favorite movies like Titanic, Dream Girls or Lean On Me.

Toya departed this life on July 27, 2018. She leaves to cherish her memory: one daughter, Montoya Walker; two granddaughters, Aaleia Bandy and Aniylah Bandy; her significant other, Samuel Craddock and a host of other family and friends.
