Tyrone A. Jones, age 68, of Grandview, MO, departed this earthly life on Christmas Day, December 25,

2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering faith. Tyrone was born April 23, 1957, in

Kansas City, MO. He died at KU Medical Center following a brave and valiant six month battle with liver

cancer. Tyrone was employed at the Internal Revenue Service and was a member of Greater Bethel

Missionary Baptist Church. He leaves behind his beloved wife and companion for over 30 years, Sandra

Champion Jones; and six children, Tyrone A. Champion-Jones; Donna Stafford Blewett; Bryuona Blewett;

Valissa King; Daniel Jones; and Victoria Jones. His son, Deputy Marcus D. Champion, preceded him in

death. Tyrone leave a host of other family, friends and co-workers to cherish his memory.
