Veronica Lynn Price, 66 of Overland Park, Kansas passed away Wednesday, September 1, 2021. Veronica Lynn (Jones) Price was born to the late Eva and James Jones on July 26, 1955 in Chicago, Il. Veronica graduated from Lincoln High School, Kansas City, Mo in 1973. As an avid learner Veronica extended her quest for knowledge with years of collegiate studies. In 1978 Veronica married Sergeant Major (SGT Maj US Marines) James B. Price producing three children from marriage. They lived in Bremerton, WA., San Diego, CA., Long Beach, CA., and Camp Lejeune, NC. Veronica's older sister, Charlotte preceded her in death. Veronica was a person who multitasked seamlessly and left no option undiscovered. She showcased her creativity and ambition through her careers as an accomplished seamstress, paralegal and customer service representative at notable companies such as David's Bridal, the law firm Shook Hardy and Bacon Law, and AT&T. She passed her exploratory ability on to her sons who've all found success as business owners. In her free time Veronica loved skating, bowling, go to the movies, and eating crab legs with her loved ones. Veronica is survived b y her youngest sister Tiffany, her three sons: Devon (Tami) Price, Derrick (Rashuanda) Price, and James Charonda) Price II. 11 grandchildren: Marquan, Aarreanna, Shilah, Derrick II, De'Jean, Faith, Derion, James III, Fortec, Skye and Alycia; great granddaughter Sage. A host of extended family and friends. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 11, 2021. Visitation 10:00 a.m. - 11. Private Disposition. Services provided by Duane E.
