Wallace Edward Taylor, 64 was born on December 3, 1955 to Decatur Taylor and Jessie Mae Ellis in Forrest City, Arkansas. His parents, four brothers, Calvin Taylor, Donald Taylor, Sylvester Mills and Leotis Johnsonm two sisters, Pasty A. Taylor and Donna Taylor and a son, Demetrius Draper all preceded him in death.`
Wallace was educated in the Forrest City, Arkansas public schools. He accepted Christ at an early age in Forrest City. He later relocated to the Kansas City area where he made his home until his death.
Wallace was employed as a blade sharpener for a local manufacturing company. He was a loving father, brother and grandfather and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He departed this life on Wednesday, June 29, 2020.
He leaves to cherish his memory, one son, Damien Draper; eleven siblings, Terrell Taylor, Albin Lee Taylor, John Taylor, Jimmy Lee Taylor, Demetrius Taylor, Gurturde Vann, Lubirta Bland (Jessie), Tina Collins, Annie Lee Taylor (Kenny), Lisa Taylor and Essie Taylor; four grandchildren, D'Ante Draper, Zekel Draper, Zi'Air Draper and Kamarrion Draper; god daughter, Nicole Smith, a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside service Friday, July 10, 2020, 11:00 am. at XII Gates Memorial Gardens. Visitation Thursday, July 9, 2020, 6:00 pm-8:00 pm at the chapel. Service conducted by Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Condolences may be shared on our website.
