Obituary

Warren Edward Banks II, 20, KCMO, passed away on December 16, 2016. He was born August 14, 1996 in Kansas City, Missouri, the middle child of Rochelle Acker and Warren E. Banks. He was preceded in death by his father. Affectionately known as 'Lil Man' or 'Wooda', he received his education in the Hickman Mills School District and graduated from Ruskin High School in 2015. At a young age he was very active in sports, participating in both football and basketball. Warren had a very good work ethic and was currently employed at the United States Postal Service. Although Warren was not actively involved in church, he believed in Jesus Christ and loved the Lord. Warren had a smile that would light up the room. He enjoyed music and playing video games, but most of all spending time with his family who he truly loved. He was such a kind hearted individual who took pride in making sure his mother and siblings were always taken care of. He leaves to cherish his memory: his mother, Rochelle Acker; stepfather, Demetrius Acker; paternal grandmother; Deborah Banks; maternal grandparents, Charles Harvey and Alberta Harvey; two brothers, Bi'Jon Banks and Zi'Yon Banks; three sisters, DeAirra Lee (Jamarr Sr.), Eleshea Banks and Demetria Acker; nephew, Jamarr Lee, Jr.; niece, DaKyra Jackson; special friend, Antoinette Tabron; a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Friday, December 23, 11:00 a.m. at Memorial Church International. Interment XII Gates Memorial Gardens, Visitation will be from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at the church. Services conducted by Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Condolences may be shared on our website.
