Obituary

Wesley Barnes, 67, was born on August 9, 1951 to the union of Louis Sr. and Hattie M. Barnes in Eudora, AR. He was the second child born to this union. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Sandra Kay Barnes, Brenda Clark and brother, David Barnes.

Wesley accepted Christ at an early age. He attended the First Baptist Church of Eudora, Arkansas. Wesley was called to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 20, 2019.

Wesley was educated in the public school system of Eudora, Arkansas. He was a self-taught mechanic, teaching himself to work on the big rigs and he built race cars in his early years. As time progressed, he became an independent contractor.

Wesley was happiest when surrounded by family and friends. He loved his family. Wesley had a kind spirit and was a friend to all he met. He would greet you with his infectious smile and instantly you'd feel like you had always known him. He was a kind-hearted person. He never met a person who he didn't like or that didn't like him. He loved kids and they loved him.

Left to cherish his wonderful memories are: his special friend, Evalena Brunson; brothers, Robert McFall (Pearline), William McFall, Johnnie Barnes (Leslie), Larry Barnes all of Kansas City, Louis Barnes (Yvonne) of Eudora, AR and Mark T. Williams of Mesquite, TX; sisters, Angie Faye Martin and Genolia Smith (Wilson); a host of nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts, cousins, other relatives, and close friends.
