Willa Joy Walker, 59, passed away on September 13, 2018 at Truman Medical Center. She was born February 22, 1959 to Elwood and Bernice (Suber) Walker in Kansas City, Missouri. She was the fourth of seven children.

"JoJo", confessed Christ as her Savior in 2016 and was baptized at Corinthian Missionary Baptist Church. She was educated in the Kansas City School District.

Willa was preceded in death by her father, daughter and a brother, Floyd Walker. She leaves to cherish her memory: two daughters, Talena Walker of Las Vegas, NV and Marva Walker of Kansas City, MO; her mother, Bernice Suber-Gay of N. Las Vegas, NV; two brothers, Hubert Whitney of Minnesota and Hal Taylor of Kansas City, MO; three sisters, Jacqueline Williams (Leroy) of Las Vegas, NV, Clozie "Pat" Walker of Kansas City, MO and Cynthia Well (John) of Las Vegas, NV; special aunt and uncle, Loraine and Olis Nelson of Kansas City, MO; three grandchildren, James White, Jamar Walker and Marvontae Ross; one great grandchild, Jamier White and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends too numerous to name.

Funeral services Saturday, September 29, 11:00 a.m. at Corinthian Baptist Church. Private disposition. Visitation 9:00-11:00 a.m. at the church. Services conducted by Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Condolences may be shared on our website.
