William (Billy) M. Blaylock was born June 13, 1968, in Kansas City, Missouri to the union of Leroy Blaylock Sr. and Helen O. Blaylock. Billy was sixth of eight children.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents Leroy Blaylock Sr. and Helen O. Blaylock; grandparents Virgil and Estelle Gunn; great-grandparents Allen and Helen Momon; aunts Edna M. Gunn and Mary L. Robinson; sister Janice M. Blaylock-Murrell, and brother Frank H. Blaylock.

Billy acquired his education in the Kansas City School District. He attended and graduated from Central High School in 1986. He also worked for the Don Bosco Center where he served as a cook for several years before transitioning to Superior Moving and Storage, where he worked as an Office Mover/Supervisor, until his health prevented him from continuing.

To all who knew Billy, he loved family, fishing, and watching movies. You could always find him babysitting the family kids, or participating in family fun days, and watching game shows, etc. He was a wealth of wisdom and knowledge who all gleaned from.

Billy departed this life on Monday, October 23, 2023, at the Research Medical Center at the age of 55.

Billy leaves to cherish two sons Andre Byrd (Kansas City, MO), Dre'yon Howard (Kansas City, MO), a very special nephew Christopher M. Blaylock; siblings: Sharon Neal (Cleveland), Leroy Blaylock Jr. (Lawanda), Helen (Candi) E. Blaylock, Sandra (Missy) Blaylock (Reginald), Gary D. Blaylock (Jimita), and Michael Newell; grandchildren: Asiyah, Skye, Andre Jr, Dre'yon Jr., De'Andre, Dre'von, and Ka'ir, along with a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and greats, cousins, a special fried Cassandra (Sherice) Byrd, and other family members and friends.
