William Michael Gamble was born on June 22, 1952, in Kansas City, Missouri to Beverly Ann Hamilton. He was proceeded in death by his mother Beverly Ann Hamilton and stepfather George Arthur Hamilton. Michael was educated in the public schools of Kansas City Missouri. He got his GED and later attended Penn Valley Community College. He was a faithful visitor of Abiding Faith Baptist Church & Mission before his health started to deteriorate. He was employed by the City of KCMO Parks and Recreation Dept. He had several jobs after leaving the City of KCMO. He was determined disabled sometime after that. He loved spending time with his family, doing word search puzzles, and putting furniture together. He departed this life on Sunday January 16, 2022. He leaves to cherish his memory his son Marlowe Wasson, his daughters Darla Smith (Michael Sr) Domonique Whitmill (Mahagony), Marquita Peters, his sister Rita Hogan (Richard). His Grandchildren Michael Smith Jr, Darnell Smith (LaKeasha), Mychell Smith, Jawana Griffin, Jadeys McDonald Wasson, Ashlee Webb, Deanthony Wheeler, James Lewis IV, Alexis Lewis, Maison Whitmill. His Great grandchildren Omadi Lewis, Daxton Smith and Darnell Smith Jr. His Niece Lamonica Gilmore. His Nephews Anthony Lewis and Jodie Lewis. A Host of Great Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends Funeral service will be held Saturday, February 5, 2022, at 2:30p.m., Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors Chapel. Visitation 1:30 p.m. - 2:30.
