William
Muse Jr.
Aug 10, 1968 — Sep 1, 2022
William Muse Jr., 54, was born August 10, 1968, to William Muse Sr., and Geraldine Walker in Memphis Tennessee.
William was preceded in death by his grandparents Plue and Carrie Lee Muse, his father William Muse Sr., his mother Geraldine Walker, brothers Lamont Sharman and Larry Walker, and a sister Jearlstein Brown.
William and his sister Angela relocated from Memphis to Kansas City. During this time, they were raised by their grandparents and Uncle Robert Lee and Aunt Bonnie. They attended Southeast High school in the Kansas City Missouri School District.
William worked in construction for a year and half, then changed professions because he wanted to help people and do as much volunteer work as he could do. William started working at a Thrift store on 39th and Troost in the Kansas City area.
He was praised by his manager and co-workers on his work ethics, how he helped the homeless, and talked to the young men about staying out of trouble.
He will always be remembered as an excellent caregiver to his uncle and aunt, Robert Lee Muse and Bonnie Muse.
William who was also known as LiL William, Will and Big head, enjoyed eating sweet potato pie, macaroni and cheese, and a loaf of bread. Well, he ate a loaf of bread with anything. I told him maybe that is why his head was so big.
Everyone that knew him knew he loved fixing, riding or just looking at Cadillac's. He was a hard worker and loved to joke around. He will forever be known as Big Head and will always be remembered by his smile.
He leaves to cherish his wife Unekeia Muse, 6 step kids, uncle: Robert Lee Muse (Bonnie), a brother Johnny William Sherman (Elizabeth) of Kansas City, MO, sisters: Flora Walker, Debbie Walker, Atlanta, GA., Gladys Walker, Angela Washington, Ann Sherman, Kansas City, and Gloria Walker of Memphis, TN, cousins: Reginald Pott Johnson of Kansas City, Yolanda Willingham of Texas, Shanta Muse of Ohio, and a host of family and friends.
