Obituary

William LaMark Ragsdale, 50, transitioned to be with Jesus on December 15, 2017 at the Veterans Administration Hospital. He was born December 30, 1966 to Bobbie Jean Ragsdale and Jimmy Lee Kennedy in Kansas City, Missouri, where he's spent most of his life.

Affectionately known as "Mark", he graduated from Lincoln Academy and furthered his education at DeVry Technical School. Mark then entered his military career 1985 and served six years before moving back to Kansas City where most of his family lived.

Mark began his employment at the Social Security Administration over twenty-five years ago, Internal Revenue Service seasonally. Mark, for a short time, worked at Costco's and began at the Post Office until the Lord called him home.

Mark was very comical with a jubilant personality. He loved to crack jokes; a natural clown. He was the life of the party anywhere he went, he loved to dance.

Mark had given his life to Jesus Christ at an early age and rededicated his life very recently.

Our dear Mark was a breast cancer advocate, a volunteer to the Susan G. Komen foundation and a wonderful humanitarian.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his dear mother, Bobbie Jean Ragsdale; siblings, Richard Dean Ragsdale, Jean Marie Hodges (Ronald), Fred Allen Ragsdale (Janie), and Kenny C. Ragsdale (Rochelle). He also leaves a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends who will greatly miss him.
