Willie Marshall Alexander, 53, KCMO, passed away on August 11, 2017 at the Kansas City Hospice House. He was born June 22, 1964 in Hayti, Missouri to Thomas Jefferson Alexander and the late Rosie Lattimore. He was preceded in death by his siblings Anthony 'James' Alexander, Deborah Ann Simmons, and William 'Wallace' Alexander. Willie was educated in the pubic school system if Kansas City, Missouri. He served in the United States Army before attending Advanced Hair Tech to become a barber. Willie was truly creative. He loved to draw and would often express his love through homemade greeting cards. He could crochet almost anything from roses and stuffed animals, to hats and scarves. He leaves to cherish his memory: his son, Kristopher Edwards; daughters, Veronika Alexander, Rania Johnson, Dania Johnson, and Beverly President; father, Thomas Jefferson Alexander; brother, Gerry Lattimore; brother-in-law, Ronnie Simmons, Sr.; grandchildren, Kiersten Edwards, Krisopher Edwards, Jr., and Zylah Johnson; nephews, Ronnie Simmons, Jr., Gerry Lattimore, Jr., Derick West, Vincent West, William West, Leanthony West, and Teron Young; nieces, KaTrina Simmons, Rekeshia Simmons, Dheyonna Simmons, Khyila Simmons, Aesha Alexander, Ciera West, and Terrion West Young; his God-family and a host of friends.
