Willie C. Cooper, 81, passed away on January 2, 2020 at St. Luke's Hospice House. She was born on March 6, 1938 to Gardnella Armstrong in Kansas City, Missouri. She was preceded in death her husband, Harold Cooper, Sr, her mother, a son, Larry and two siblings .

Willie attended R.C. Coles and Lincoln Academy Kansas City School District.

Willie was employed at Westport Windows Company.

Willie was united in marriage to Harold Cooper, Sr., to this union four children were born. She was a loving mother, grandmother and caregiver.

She leaves behind: two daughters, Gardnella Buie (Rodney) and Janie Cooper; a son, Harold Cooper, Jr.one sister, Marlene Reed; eight grandchildren, Keevon Cooper, Sr.(Carmella) Rodney Buie, Jr., Jamil Buie, Dawan Buie, Michael Matthew, Marshawn Cooper, LaTisha Long and LaTasha Cooper;twelve great grandchildren and three great -great grandchildren.

Funeral service Friday, January 10, 2020, 11:00 a.m. at Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Interment Blue Ridge Lawn Cemetery. Visitation 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. at the chapel. Service conducted by Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Condolences may be shared on our website.
