Willie Evans III, affectionately known as "Peewee", was born July 12, 1970 in Kansas City, Missouri to the union of Willie Evans, Jr. and Ola M. Palmer.

As a lifelong area resident, Willie was educated in the public schools of Kansas City, Missouri. After graduating from high school he enlisted in the United States Army and served in Germany. He was honorably discharged from the military after his service to the country was completed.

Willie departed this life on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at his home. He was preceded in death by his father, Willie Evans, Jr.; paternal grandmother, Katie L. Blue; maternal grandparents, Thomas L. Palmer and Lola M. Palmer; and a brother, Dyron H. Evans.

To cherish his memory he leaves: his mother, Ola M. Evans; brothers, Provector Y. Evans (Sheila) of Minnesota and Byron H. Evans of Kansas City, MO; sisters, Pedenia Y. Evans and Sonja V. Hayes (Robert) of Kansas City, MO; step mother, Linda Evans of Liberty, MO; step brothers, Carlton Mason and Carlos Mason of Kansas City, MO; step sister, Carla Mason of Liberty, MO; and a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins and other relatives and friends.
