Yolonda Marie Jackson was born on March 1, 1970, to James Jackson and JoAnn Brewer-Tarrant in Kansas City, MO. She was the third oldest among fourteen siblings: eleven sisters, Kristie, Jayuana, DuSanda, Jamesetta, Connie, Keisha, Celise, Kemisha, AnnieMae, and Jimi; and three brothers, Kiml, James, and Konnell. Her father James Jackson, her best friend Cynthia, and Marcus Oneal, the love of her life, all preceded her in death.

Yolonda, affectionately known as Love, received her education in Kansas City, MO. Her last employer was the Bus Barn in Oak Grove, MO, until her health started to decline. Love was a devoted Mother, NaNa, sister, aunt, daughter, and friend. She cherished time with her family, enjoyed shopping—recently finding a favorite in Temu—and took pleasure in listening to gospel music and studying scripture.

She leaves behind four children Jamil (Jen), Raymond (Lucia), Doretha (Josh Sr), Vialencia (Montrel Sr.) Twenty-five grandchildren and one great grandchild. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She will be tremendously missed by all.
