Yvonne Scott, 75 of Lee's Summit, MO passed away Tuesday, September 21, 2021. Yvonne "Bonnie" Scott transitioned September 21, 2021, at the age of 75. She was born December 27, 1945, in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Edgar and Zenobia Scott. Yvonne graduated with the class of 1963 from Manual Training High School in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Yvonne continued her education at Langston University in Langston, OK where she received a BA degree in elementary education. Soon after graduation she moved to Kansas City, MO to begin her teaching career in 1967. In her spare time Yvonne enjoyed fishing, hunting, planting flowers and her annual trips to Las Vegas. She leaves to mourn her passing her siblings: Edgar J. Scott, Patricia A. Scott-Milton, Sarah Scott-Leonard, Curtis C. Scott; sister-in-law's: Judy Scott and Ella Scott; brother-in-law's: Roosevelt Milton and Roy Leonard, and her loyal canine companion Schelli. A host of other family and friends. Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., October 2, 2021, at Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors Chapel. No Visitation. Disposition Private. Services provided by Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors.
