Zefferey Mae Wallace, 69, was born November 28, 1947 in Kansas City, Missouri to Jeffery and Josephine (Hayden) Laury. Zefferey was educated in the public schools of Kansas City, Missouri. She was employed as a cook at Midtown Manor for number of years. Zefferey was united in marriage to Henry Wallace on April 12, 1998. She was a fun, outgoing, free spirited woman who was a joy to be around. She loved movies and had a special thing for her barbeque potato chips. Above all she truly loved her family, especially spending time with her grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Zefferey departed this life on March 6, 2017 at St. Luke's Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jeffery and Josephine Laury; and three brothers, William Ivy, Eugene Ivy and George Laury. She leaves to cherish her memory: her husband, Henry Wallace; six children, Curtis Laury (Juliet), Pete Laury (Kimberly), Barris Harvey, John Wallace, Regina Harvey and Stacey Laury; four siblings, Charles Laury, Myrtle Davis, Kasandra Laury (Willie) and Patricia Laury (Loren); five grandchildren, three great grandchildren and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Thursday, March 16, 3:00 p.m. at Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Private disposition. Visitation will be from 2:00-3:00 p.m. at the chapel. Services conducted by Duane E.
